Shakespeare In Love 2?! Yea verily!
Not a lot of movies get sequels 15 years after the fact, but we are talking about a love story 400 years in the making.
But why now?
The Weinstein Company and Miramax, the two alike-in-dignity houses that brought us the 1998 Best Picture Oscar winner, have reunited, and now they're bringing the Bard back for some Electric Boogaloo.
So we have to ask… really??
Is Shakespeare going to fall in love with a girl dressed as a guy again? Once is romantic, but twice just seems like a pattern! LOLz!
We guess we're willing to give it a shot. Even Henry IV had a sequel.
Besides, we do have a great idea about who could play the leading lady/man…Anne Hathaway, anyone??
