Ten people died in violent attacks in Afghanistan on Saturday, officials said.
A roadside bomb killed seven people and injured eight more in Helmand province, said Omar Zwak, spokesman for the provincial government.
All of the victims belonged to the same family, and two children were among the dead.
They were on their way to a religious shrine when the two cars they traveled in hit the bomb, Zwak said.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attack.
In a separate incident Saturday, Taliban gunman killed three teachers in Ghor province after halting their vehicle, a provincial police spokesman said.
