40 Dead In recent Attack
At
least 40 people were left dead yesterday after boko haram suspects
attacked Chuha A, Chuha, Chuha B and Koronglim villages in Chibok, in
Borno state. Homes, shops and vehicles were also destroyed in the
process.
The attack, which commenced around 7a.m. on Sunday, lasted over five hours before the military intervened. Some residents of Chibok made frantic telephone calls to the military authorities but unfortunately, the military only started bombing the surrounding after over 40 of our people had been killed.
