Imo APGA Senatorial Candidate, Barr. Mrs. Eudora Igwe, Is DEAD
The senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand
Alliance, APGA, for Orlu Senatorial District of Imo
State, Barr. Mrs. Eudora Igwe is dead. She died Monday
afternoon.
According to information available to
247ureports.com, Igwe, a member of the Imo State
House of Assembly, was representing Ideato North
Federal Constituency before her death.
She was said to have died at a private hospital, in
Owerri on Monday where she received emergency
attention after reportedly collapsing at her home in
Egbeada Housing Estate, Owerri.
The late APGA senatorial candidate emerged as a
consensus candidate because of her heavy support for
the party. This was despite the pressure mounted on the
state party executives to drop her for some of the
defecting senatorial aspirants from other parties.
