Enyeama fails to meet Oliseh’s deadline
Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama is yet to arrive at the team’s camp, despite coach Sunday (Coach) Oliseh making it clear that Monday, August 31, was the deadline for foreign-based players.
Team Coordinator Patrick Pascal, confirmed that every other player except the Lille goalkeeper, has reported at the Bolton white Apartment camp.
“Russia-based Ahmed Musa came in [Tuesday] evening and even trained. But the only player we are still expecting is the team captain Vincent Enyeama,” Pascal told Goal at 8.30pm on Tuesday. “The chief coach Sunday Oliseh expects him to report to camp unfailingly [on Wednesday] morning.”
The available players are expected to train twice on Wednesday, before they fly out to Dar es Salaam on Thursday.
